Alicia Spidel

Ph. D. (recherche)

Alicia est actuellement au doctorat en recherche (Ph. D.) à l’Université de Montréal sous la supervision de Dre Tania Lecomte et la codirection de Dre Isabelle Daigneault. Ses intérêts de recherche portent sur les effets d’un groupe de soutien axé sur la pleine conscience  (mindfulness) chez les individus présentant une psychose ayant vécu des événements traumatiques. Elle est également psychologue clinicienne pour les services correctionnels provinciaux à Vancouver (Fraser Health et Vancouver Coastal Health). Alicia a reçu plusieurs prix pour ses études doctorales et publié plus de 25 articles scientifiques et chapitres de livre. Elle a fait ses études universitaires précédentes à l’Université de la Colombie-Britannique et a travaillé dans plusieurs domaines en santé mentale et en recherche, entre autres au sein des systèmes communautaires et correctionnels.
